​We are One Degree Health Pty Limited (A.C.N 606 235 741) ("we", "us", "our").
 
We respect your right to privacy. This Policy sets out:
  • how we may collect your personal information;
  • how we will handle the personal information which we collect; and
  • how and why we may use and disclose this information from time to time.
 
By accessing the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website or otherwise using our services you consent to the collection, and use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Policy. This Policy applies on each occasion that you access the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website or otherwise use our services.
 
We may review and update this Policy from time to time . We will notify you through notification posted on the Lifebuddi Mobile Application or Website .
 
You should review this page regularly.
 
If you do not provide the personal information that we request then we may not be able to provide all or some of our services to you.


Personal information which may be collected by us

 
We collect personal information as part of our business and we may collect the following personal information from you:
  1. Information relating to Your Account: In accordance with Our Agreement we require all Participants to register with us (Account). To register you must provide us with certain personal information and we will collect and hold this information. We require this to be able to identify you and for security purposes. If you choose not to provide the personal information we request, we will not be able to let you open or keep open your Account. We may also collect information relating to your use of your Account.  
  2. Your Content: You may post on or make available to the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website your content and information, including information about you and the actions you take, any photos, video, or text or other forms of content (Your Content).Your Content may contain personal information. Your Content will be publicly available.You grant us a licence to use, and reproduce Your Content under Our Agreement.
  3. Being a part of LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website: If you are a Participant, we may collect and hold information in relation to your participation with LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website. This may include information such as who you follow or who follows you, and purchase orders placed by you. If you choose to use our opt-in services, we will ask you for the information needed to send the communication or have it sent to you and we may keep information about our communications with you.  
  4. Using the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website: We collect and hold details of your access to and use of the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website. This includes your browser type and IP address. In addition, we store certain information from your browser using "cookies." A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We use session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in and may include geo-location information, information about your access and linked pages. These cookies terminate once the user closes the browser. You can remove or block this cookie using the settings in your browser if you want to disable this convenience feature.

Information we will not collect

We do not collect any credit card or debit card information from you.
All donations and payments are made through the Braintree Payment System (https://www.braintreepayments.com) (Payment System). The provider of the Payment System may retain your payment and credit card details. We do not collect or hold your credit card information, either from you or from the Payment System provider. Access to and use of your personal information

Your personal information may be used by us to:
  • verify your identity;
  • if you are a Participant, enable you to open and use Your Account;
  • if you are a Participant, have a profile page on the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website;
  • enable you to be a Participant;
  • enable you to otherwise access and use the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website, including uploading and
  • share Your Content;
  • troubleshoot and rectify or alter LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website;
  • facilitate the sharing of Your Content;
  • administer and manage the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website;
  • administer and manage your access to and use of the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website;
  • communicate with our Payment System;
  • maintain, undertake research into and develop LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website; and communicate with you, or permit other people to communicate with you, in accordance with Our Agreement; and
  • notify you of updates, such as changes to our services, fees and charges, Terms and Conditions or Payment Terms;
  • to undertake surveys;
  • provide you with information about future LifeBuddi and One Degree Health events and initiatives which may be of interest to you.

Other people's information

If you provide to us or post on or make available to the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website any personal information of another person, you must:
  • have that person's prior written consent to do so;
  • ensure they are aware of this Policy; and
  • ensure their consent allows us to use and disclose their personal information in the same way that we may use and disclose your personal information.

Disclosure of your personal information

In order to be able to manage our business and operate the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website, we may disclose your personal information to third parties for the following purposes:
  • if you are a Participant, to open and use your Account;
  • so you can access and use the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website, including uploading and sharing Your Content;
  • so we can administer, manage and support LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website for you (including your access to and use of the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website);
  • so we can ensure your Purchase Orders are properly accounted for with the Payment System provider;
  • so we can fulfil your Purchase Orders;
  • so we can undertake research into and develop One Degree Health and the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website to make it better.
 
The types of organisations to which we disclose information for these purposes include:
  • organisations which carry out IT services for us including in relation to the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website including our physical housing, monitoring and backup of the servers for the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website, support and maintenance for the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website;
  • organisations which provide services to enable fulfilment of your Purchase Orders
Some of these third parties are located overseas. If you consent to the disclosure of your personal information overseas, we will not be responsible for ensuring overseas entities' compliance with Australian privacy law (including the Australian Privacy Principles) in relation to that personal information.
 
If you are a Participant we may display your name and image on your profile page of the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website. Your email address or other contact information will not be displayed in any form through the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website. 
 
If you are a Participant, we may also provide your postcode information from your Account to Google Maps (but not other personal information) so Google Maps can display information about participation in LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website. This is unlikely to identify you.
 
We may also disclose information to third parties you have indicated you want to share your information with for a particular purpose, including through opting in to a particular form of communication (by checking a box or by other means that allows us to pass your information onto third parties). This may include beneficiaries, third parties that provide goods or services, or our sponsors or supporters who may wish to contact you from time to time. They may also include marketing, market participation and research companies.
 
Where consent has not been provided we may provide information which has been de-identified (so that it is no longer personal information and does not identify you) to:
  • organisations which carry out marketing, market and participation research for us for the purpose of carrying out such research and providing us with advice;
  • organisations which provide us with support, sponsorship or are beneficiaries.
 
We take reasonable steps to ensure that any third parties who we disclose your personal information to are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of your personal information.
 
We may disclose your personal information to Facebook so that Facebook can send you advertisements about future LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website events and initiatives. Your details will be hashed before they are sent to Facebook, and Facebook only briefly uses the data for matching purposes then deletes it: https://www.facebook.com/ads/manage/customaudiences/tos.phpIf you would prefer not to see these advertisements or wish to opt out of having your details provided to Facebook, please contact us on support@LifeBuddi.com.au.
 
In addition, we may disclose your personal information to:
  • your authorised representatives or your legal advisers (when requested by you to do so);
  • as required or authorised by law, including to government and regulatory authorities and other organisations; and
  • our professional advisers, including our accountants, auditors and lawyers.

Changes to personal information

Management of personal information in your Account and Your Content is governed by you. You are responsible for changing these as required by you from time to time.
We require your assistance to ensure that the personal information we collect, use and disclose and which you use and disclose to us is accurate, complete and up-to-date. We ask that you:
  • let us know if there are any errors in your personal information which we have collected; and keep us up-to-date with changes to your personal information which we have collected such as your name or e-mail address.

Access to your personal information
You have a right to seek access to the personal information we hold about you. In order to do this, please email us at support@LifeBuddi.com.au.
 
You do not need to provide us with a reason for accessing your personal information. However, you will need to provide us with sufficient proof of identity (in our reasonable discretion) before we comply with your request.
 
We may refuse access to personal information for certain reasons, including when:
 
  • permitting access would pose a serious threat to the life or health or any person
  • it would unreasonably affect the privacy of others
  • the request is frivolous or vexatious
  • providing access would be unlawful or we are permitted to refuse access by law
  • providing access would reveal information generated by us to use in making a commercially sensitive decision.
 
Making a complaint
 
You should direct any questions or complaints in writing to our Privacy Officer at support@LifeBuddi.com.au. 
 
We will endeavour to respond to any complaint within a reasonable time (usually 30 days). If your complaint relates to incorrect personal information, your records will be amended and acknowledgment of the correct will be sent to you. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may take your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
 
 
Definitions
 
In this Policy:
 
"the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website" we mean the features and services we make available, including through our LifeBuddi application and website at www.lifebuddi.com and any other One Degree Health or LifeBuddi branded Application or Website or co-branded websites (including sub-domains, international versions, and mobile versions) in accordance with our terms and conditions governing them.
 
"Participant" means a registered participant of the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website.
 
"Purchase Order" means an order for any purchase through the LifeBuddi Mobile Application or Website.
